Winnebago High School FAQs About Athletic/Activity Registration


  •       How do I register my child for athletics/activities for WHS?  Please go to and click on the Athletics/Activities tab on the right of the screen.  This will take you directly to the website. Or, you may go directly to the athletic website which is www.winnebagoathletics.comPLEASE DO NOT USE YOUR SMARTPHONE TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD!!!!
    • Click on the “Registration” tab.
    • Choose either the sports or club & activities icon.
    • Returning Users – Click on:  FAMILY ACCOUNT LOGIN – RETURNING USERS LOGIN HERE -You will use your family account log in information from the previous school year.
    • First Time Users – Click on:  HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC REGISTRATION – NEW USER CREATE AN ACCOUNT - This button leads to the first page of the Activity/Sport Registration.  Start filling out the Registration Form step-by-step (***NOTE - You will create a new account for your family at the end of registering your child) starting with:
      • Step 1 – Student Information
      • Step 2 – Select Activity – To select more than one activity, press the Shift key while selecting the sport/activity.
      • Step 3 - Parent/Guardian information
      • Step 4 – Physical Form(s) – If you do not have your athlete(s) get their sports physical at our scheduled physical night (Mercy Health Winnebago Clinic, 102 Landmark Drive, Winnebago, on Friday, July 12, 2019), you can upload their sports physical form on the website or turn in to the high school office.
      • Step 5 – Medical Information
      • Step 6 – Others – This step includes the forms that need to be read and signed electronically by the parent/guardian and student athlete. These forms include:
        • Concussion Form
        • Extra-Curricular Drug & Alcohol Testing
        • Extra-Curricular Code
        • Athletic Edge-Activity Waiver
        • Emergency Information Card
      • Lastly, you will Setup Your Family Account Login and after submitting this information you will receive a “Thank You” message with payment information. Please record your username and password for future reference.  If you wish to make a new registration for a different child, just click the Register link.  This link is found on your Family Account page.  Repeat the steps for signing up your next child.  As long as you are in your Family Account, your information should repopulate for your second child except for items pertaining specifically for that child.
      • After this point, you will need to log in as a “Returning User” to access your account.  This will take you directly to your family account.


  • May I register my child for each sports season (fall, winter, spring)?  Yes, you may.  To select more than one activity, press the SHIFT key while selecting the activities/sports. However, you can sign them up per season if you wish. 
  • If I register my student athlete per season, do I have to register them for their 3rd sport even though there is not a fee for it?  Yes, you will need to register your child for their third sport.  You will not have to fill out all of the contact information again unless something has changed.


  • Do I have to pay my child’s sports fee online?  You will NOT pay your child sports fee(s) through the Registration website.  Sports fees may be paid through Efunds, or cash/check to the high school office.  If you click “Pay Now” on the sports website, it will take you directly to Efunds.   


  • Will I receive a confirmation email showing that my child is registered?  No, but you may go into your Family Account and view your registration history at any time.


  • The website is showing a $0 balance.  Does this mean that there is not a charge for this activity/sport?  No, it only shows a $0 balance because you are not making a payment on their website. 


  • How long is a sports physical good for?  Your child’s sports physical/freshman physical is good for 13 months from the date the physician has signed the physical.  Your child will not be allowed to try out for a team or participate in any practices without a current physical on file. 


  • How do I receive alerts/updates?  On the athletic website look for the Notify Me! tab at the top of the screen.  Follow the directions per screen and you will be able to receive instant change notifications and reminders via email or text message for the sport/activity you select. 


  • The Subscribe App will allow you to be able to subscribe to ‘All of today’s Events’ or full schedules for all the activities you want to place on your personal calendar, including any future schedule updates.  To sign up for this feature, look for the Subscribe tab at the top of the website and follow the onscreen directions. This App works with Outlook, Google Calendar, and ICal for Mac users and smart phone users (Android and iPhone).
